Katy McDonald joined Matteson Partners in 2007 and is the Director of Marketing and an Associate Partner with the firm. She provides Executive Search services, marketing expertise, candidate and industry research. McDonald's professional background includes expertise in marketing, sales, public relations as well as experience in organizational techniques, graphic design, extensive writing and editing experience.
Her experience also includes fundraising for numerous Atlanta-based charities such as The Red Cross, Blaze Sports Clubs of America, The John Ripley Forbes Big Trees Forest Preserve, Children's Miracle Network, and Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. She has also completed three trips to Ensenada, Mexico to volunteer at an orphanage for abused and neglected children.
McDonald graduated from the University of Georgia where she majored in Journalism at the pretigious Grady College. She was an active member of several student organizations, including leadership positions within her sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha.
 Katy has a passion for planning and fundraising for numerous charities, but the organization closest to her is undoubtedly The Humane Society. She helps to raise money for different chapters of the Humane Society and you can often find her volunteering to walk homeless dogs. She has adopted two dogs of her own- Layla and Dash. |
